Results Announcement! [SAFICs × FIFA World Cup Campaign]

Thank you to all the students who participated in our “Predict the Teams Advancing to the Knockout Stage!” event, which was organized to encourage greater interest in Africa through the FIFA World Cup!

We are pleased to announce the results of the SAFICs × FIFA World Cup Campaign (Knockout Stage Team Prediction Contest):

Perfect Prediction Award: 1 winner

So Close! Award: 3 winners

The Perfect Prediction Award was presented to Mr. Shota Totsuka (Faculty of Global Studies), who received a SAFICs tea tin and sticker set as his prize.

Mr. Totsuka shared that he has long been interested in Africa, and his passion for soccer inspired him to participate in the contest. He also commented, “I hope there will continue to be programs and events that help people feel the connection between Japan and Africa through sports and cultural experiences.”
