{"id":877,"date":"2026-04-28T11:07:18","date_gmt":"2026-04-28T02:07:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cged.sophia.ac.jp\/safics\/?p=877"},"modified":"2026-04-28T11:07:19","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T02:07:19","slug":"20260428e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cged.sophia.ac.jp\/safics\/eng\/20260428e\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cThe First FD\/SD Training\u201d Held"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On April 9, we welcomed Vice President Yoshifumi Okamura from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) to our university to conduct training aimed at FD (Faculty Development: improving teaching skills) and SD (Staff Development: enhancing staff capabilities).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Professor Okamura gave a lecture on the theme &#8220;Challenges for African Students in Japan (Recruitment and Daily Life)&#8221;, sharing concrete insights based on his extensive experience regarding the challenges in recruiting students from Africa and the specific issues they may face after arriving in Japan, making it a highly meaningful opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Domestic universities selected for the \u201c2025FY Inter-University Exchange Project: Africa&#8221; also joined in a hybrid format.
