Guidance Session by a JICA Representative Held

On February 10, 2026, Sophia University held an online guidance session titled “Discover Africa,” delivered by a JICA representative stationed in Africa.

The session, conducted via Zoom, attracted many students, including those interested in studying in Africa and those considering careers in the field of international cooperation. In addition to providing basic information about studying in Africa and important points regarding daily life and safety, the speaker introduced concrete career paths in international cooperation, drawing on personal experiences from the field.

The session also highlighted the significance and appeal of choosing destinations outside Europe and North America. For participants, it was a valuable opportunity to broaden their perspectives on future study and career possibilities.
